Can you feel the love?

While we were in Washington for Thanksgiving, I had a surge of love from my uncle and cousin, David. We got to talking about when I get married (eventually). They both offered their services of marksmanship when I decide to get marriage serious with a young man. My uncle specifically offered to send a target that shows three bullet holes that can be covered with a dime. That's how good he is. My cousin also offered to show his guns and skills to my intended. How can a girl not feel loved as her family offers to defend her and protect her happiness in regards to the man she will eventually marry? I sure felt the love!

Oh my goodness!!! This is the same David that was an RA with us, right? I can totally see it now, and I can see how incredibly serious they were about it. Too funny! David is so sweet! Awww, good memories. :)

I'm so sorry about that, Kristen. This is how I grew up (add one other weird gun-toting brother). Maybe I'll use that as an excuse for why I didn't date much. The good news is guys think its kind of fun and the quality guys will play along. My first boyfriend didn't care about guns at all, but he went shooting with my brothers anyway. It made me feel loved. Dennis definitely got the tour of the collection the first time he met them. He actually thought it was cool and it was a bonding experience for him and David.
